About our club
Empower Youth Ventures CIC provides a much loved and valued service for the community.
We need your help so we can continue to offer and even expand our service!
Our mission at Empower Youth Ventures is to inspire and engage young people through sports and the arts. We provide accessible, high-quality coaching in gymnastics, football, boxing, and drama. We aim to cultivate confidence, teamwork, discipline, and resilience in children and teens aged 6 to 25, fostering lifelong skills and positive community involvement.
Social Impact As a CIC, Empower Youth Ventures is deeply committed to creating lasting positive change within the social fabric of Borehamwood and surrounding areas.
Our initiatives aim to:
Reduce Youth Crime and County Lines Activity: By providing structured activities and mentorship, we offer young people meaningful alternatives to crime and exploitation.
Strengthen Community Bonds: Through partnerships with local councils, funding organisations, and parents, EYV fosters a shared commitment to youth development.
Enhance Social Behaviour: Our programs encourage teamwork, respect, and responsibility, helping young individuals make better life choices.
Support Mental and Physical Well-being: Participation in sports and the arts has been shown to improve confidence, reduce anxiety, and promote overall health. Benefits for the Community Youth Development: Empowering young people with skills and values that prepare them for future challenges.
Crime Reduction: A decrease in anti-social behaviour and criminal activity through early intervention.
Economic Growth: Fostering employability and community engagement contributes to local economic stability.
